Why Do I Need a Website?

Here at Dexdam, we believe in keeping things short and simple. Yes, our own version of KISS principle. Back to the question, why does your small business needs a website? – We say why not? We understand that some people would have mixed feelings about this but we believe success is in keeping up with evolving technology. Keeping up isn’t starting all over, its rather enhancing your existing tools, and ensuring compliance with changing technology. Recent studies have shown that slightly over 90% people would look up a business online before going in person for any service they would need. Now ask yourself, do you want your potential customers to not find anything about your business online and end up giving business to someone else who might would happen to have some presence on the internet? If your answer is no, then happily accept the change and get a website for your business.

Still not convinced, eh? Keep on reading –  You might not necessarily find a use of a website currently, but think about this, would it really hurt getting one? If something, its possibly only going to give you positive online existence and valuable feedback from customers as they will get an easy user experience. A website will provide your customers with some authentic information about services that your business provides, maybe also a portfolio of your work, contact information and a feedback/question form for people to ask you questions which they are either hesitant to ask in-person or just don’t have time ask over a phone call.

“Your website is the center of your digital eco-system, like a brick and mortar location, the experience matters once a customer enters, just as much as the perception they have of you before they walk through the door.” ― Leland Dieno

We cannot agree more with Leland’s quote. That’s why we always ensure that we build websites which greet your customers the very same way you would’ve done when they would’ve entered your store in-person.
